Typographic poster about the typeface Futura.
The type family was deeply studied in order to understand its history and anathomy. The entire composition was made using just Futura characters and glyphs.
All the larger letters and glyphs used were hand-carved from wood and the final piece was hand-printed using the letterpress printing method. The smaller text was done by inkjet transfer.
Project done for the subject “Typography 1” at FACAMP’s Design major, oriented by the Professors Luciano Cardinali and Filipe Negrão.
